Dashboard

Once you are signed in, everything in Immersive is one or two taps away. This page tours the navigation so you always know where you are and how to get back.

Where you land

Signing in takes you to the verb library — Immersive’s home page. From there, the navigation bar is your dashboard: it shows the four main areas of the app and stays with you on every screen.

The navigation bar

On a desktop or tablet, the tabs run along the top of the page; on a phone, they sit in a tab bar at the bottom, within reach of your thumb. The tabs are:

  • Decks — your review decks, the deck Library, and your review history. See Decks & Reviews.
  • Documents — texts you are reading or writing, plus the curated document Library. See Documents.
  • Verbs — conjugation tables, audio, and example sentences. See Verbs.
  • Profile — your progress, activity, vocabulary, evaluations, teachers, and account. See Profile & Progress.

The tab for the section you are in is highlighted, so you always know where you are.

The account menu

Your profile picture sits at the end of the navigation bar. Selecting it opens a small menu showing your name and email, with a Log out button.

Review sessions are full-screen

When you start a review session, the navigation disappears: the session takes over the whole screen so you can focus on the card in front of you. Use the close button (the X at the top of the card) to return to the deck at any point — your progress in the session is saved as you go.

The daily review email

If you have cards waiting, Immersive can send you a short morning email — “3 cards are due today” — with a Start reviewing button that takes you straight to your decks.

Every one of these emails carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing only stops the email; you can keep reviewing any time from your decks.
