Verbs

Verbs are the machinery of a sentence, and Immersive gives them a full reference section: complete conjugation tables for every supported language, with audio pronunciation and real example sentences. The verb tables are public — you can browse them without an account — and they are also Immersive’s home page when you sign in.

What the Verbs section offers

  • Conjugation tables for each verb, organised by mood and tense, including nominal forms (infinitive, participles, gerund).
  • Audio pronunciation for conjugations, generated on demand — tap the listen icon next to a form.
  • Example sentences for individual conjugations, drawn from real usage, with translations.
  • Search and filters so you can find a verb quickly or stick to the common ones while you are starting out.

For signed-in learners

With an account, the verb pages do more:

  • Across your languages — on a conjugation page, Immersive lines up the same tense and person in each language you know, ordered so that the most similar languages sit side by side. One tap adds the comparison as a review card in your decks.
  • Public decks — verb pages surface ready-made public decks that practise that verb; you can copy any of them to My Decks.
  • Verb cards in your own decks — when building a deck you can generate cards for the verbs and tenses you choose. That happens in the deck workspace; see Creating decks.

Where to start

  1. Open Verbs from the navigation (or just visit the home page).
  2. Search for a verb, or browse the list — turn on Show only common verbs to keep the list short.
  3. Open a verb to see its conjugation table, and tap any form to hear it and read example sentences.

For the details, see Working with verbs.
