Managing decks
The Decks page is your library of study material. This page covers keeping it organised: reading the deck list, folders and tags, copying ready-made decks, exporting to Anki, and deleting what you no longer need.
Reading the deck list
My Decks lists your decks with three columns:
- New — cards you have not seen yet.
- Learn — cards you are in the middle of learning.
- Due — cards whose scheduled review time has arrived.
These numbers tell you at a glance where your review time is needed.
The Library
Above your decks sits the Library: prebuilt decks from Immersive, including most-common-words decks for your target language, split by frequency (the first 500 words, then 501–1,000, then 1,001–5,000) so you never study the same word twice.
Library decks are studied via a personal copy — press the + button next to one to copy it to My Decks.
Copying public decks
Verb pages surface public decks related to the verb you are viewing. Open one and choose Copy to My Decks to get your own copy; the copy notes which deck it came from.
Folders
Folders keep a long deck list manageable:
- Create a folder while creating or editing a deck — pick an existing folder or type a new folder name.
- Move a deck with Move to folder in the deck’s actions on the Decks page.
- Rename or delete a folder from its actions menu. Deleting a folder never deletes decks — they simply return to My Decks.
Folders open and close in place on the Decks page, remembering their state.
Tags
Tags group decks across folders. Add them when creating or editing a deck; tapping a tag on a deck page filters the Decks list to matching decks.
Editing a deck
Open a deck and choose the edit action to rename it (in either language), change its folder, or adjust its tags. From the deck page you can also add, edit, and delete individual cards.
Bookmarking decks
The bookmark icon on a deck saves it; the bookmark filter on the Decks page then shows only bookmarked decks. Useful when a few decks are your current focus.
Exporting to Anki
Any deck you can open has an Export to Anki action. Immersive prepares the export in the background and emails it to you when it is ready.
Deleting a deck
Delete a deck from its edit page. Deleting removes the deck, its cards, and their review progress — you will be asked to confirm first.
